Ingredients ½ kg minced beef 1 onion 2-3 ripe tomatoes ½ glass of red wine ½ kg macaroni (use spaghetti) ½ cup oil Salt, pepper |
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a pan and add the minced meat. Stir for a few minutes, add the finely chopped onion and sauté all together. Pour over the wine and add the finely chopped tomatoes. Season, and if necessary add a little water. Cover the pan and leave the meat to cook over a moderate heat, until it is tender in the sauce. Meanwhile, boil the macaroni in a large quantity of salted water. Drain, and if liked, ‘singe’ with a little oil (heat a little oil to a high temperature in a pan, turn off the heat and add the macaroni, stirring so that it is all coated with the oil). Serve the macaroni on a plate with the meat sauce poured over it.
