The Embassy of Greece in Poland, in cooperation with the Crete Prefecture, the Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno and Lasithi Chambers of Commerce and the Association of Cretan Exporters, co-organize a visit in Crete of a business, travel and journalistic delegation from Poland from 20 to 23 of October 2013.
The delegation consists of representatives of 8 Polish food, fruits and vegetables import companies (ALMA Super Market, DORAPOL, ΒΑΚΟΜΑ, BEFRA, GREEK GOURMET, GREEK TRADE, ELIZA FRUIT and GARCIA-BARTNICKI), 4 significant Polish Tour operators (TUI, EASY TRAVEL, FLY.PL and HELLAS TRAVEL), as well as 3 journalists from the top selling travel magazines in Poland (NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, VOYAGE and PODROZE).
The delegation will be accompanied by the Ambassador of Greece in Poland Mrs. Tasia Athanasiou, the Head of the Economic and Commercial Office Mr. Pantelis Giannoulis and the Head of the Press and Communication Office Mr. Alexis Georgiades.
This initiative aims to present to Cretans the potential of the Polish market, to further promote the Greek products in Poland, to open communication channels between Greek and Polish businessmen and to promote Crete as a tourist destination in Poland.
