Tiganòpita


Ingredients

1 kilo flour
1 glass olive oil
1 lemon/orange, juiced
1/2 teaspoon salt
Some water
Honey, cinnamon
Olive oil for frying

Preparation

In a bowl beat the oil, the salt and the lemon juice. Slowly pour in the flour and some hot water and work into a soft dough. Roll out a thin pastry sheet and cut circles in the size of a saucer. Fry them in hot oil until golden brown. Dissolve the honey in water (1 glass of water for each glass of honey) and pour over the pies. Sprinkle them with cinnamon and serve.
