Ηomemade cuisine in the tavern “Dounia” at one of the most beautiful mountain villages of Chania, Drakona, on the root of the White Mountains.
Small hall area but beautiful with traditional decoration and fireplace for the winter, cool outdoor space for summer with a view to the mountains of the White Mountains to the south, and the olive groves and villages of the ceramics in the north.
Bread and cracker from organic flour kneaded by hand and baked in oven, free-range chicken with noodles, xynochontro, with rabbit stew, “-laws” (eggplant, zucchini, blossoms, pigweed, stifno, tomatoes, potatoes, beans, corn).
All vegetables are produced in the garden of the owners Trilyraki family. In the tavern you can also live experiences such as: tending the animals, gathering fruits and vegetables, learn how to cook cretan food.
